The human resources team is responsible for identifying, creating, and implementing strategic initiatives and systems that maximize the effectiveness of The Strong’s most valuable resource- museum staff, volunteers, and interns. The HR coordinator supports all HR functions and works closely with the director of HR to respond to all inquiries in a timely manner and exemplify the guest service values and standards representative of The Strong. This position is responsible for facilitating the recruitment efforts for all frontline positions, providing day-to-day administration of the benefits program, coordinating the volunteer and internship programs, and completing routine administrative functions.
This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a high level of diplomacy, discretion, and professionalism.
