Security Benefit is searching for an experienced Internship – Data Analyst to join our team. SB associates are working a hybrid schedule with both remote and on-site work. The intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data to support decision-making processes within the organization. This role offers valuable exposure to various data management tools and techniques, providing a solid foundation for a career in data, analytics, and related fields.Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources.Perform a variety of data tasks (e.g., analysis, requirements gathering, ELT mapping, etc.) with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.Support the development aspects of databases and data repositories (e.g., Snowflake).Conduct preliminary analysis on datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.Collaborate with team members to generate reports and visualizations for internal stakeholders.Participate in meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas for process improvement and innovation in data management and analysis. Who Are You?Students eligible for the internship will be full-time students, available to work approximately 10-20 hours per week. Students will be expected to work during the semester and have the opportunity to work up to full-time in between semesters and during the summer. This is not a summer only internship.Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Business Analytics or other Data related fields.Basic understanding of data management principles and methodologies.Familiarity with data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) is a plus.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate findings effectively.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques. What Can Security Benefit Offer You?Security Benefit offers a competitive compensation package tailored for interns.
