Security Benefit is searching for a Client Service Specialist I (CSS) to work within the Operations Team. This position includes transaction processing and inbound phone center coverage on our VEBA Operations Team. The Client Service Specialist will work in our home office in Topeka, Kansas. The Client Service Specialist (CSS) will provide timely and accurate customer service while working in a high volume, fast-paced environment. The CSS will conduct research, analyze accounts to solve problems, and relay information to the financial advisor, and/or customer. Responsibilities include: Process healthcare reimbursement claims and other financial transactions;Handle incoming calls and provide immediate and accurate responses to customers;Process new applications. Who Are You? A customer service professional who is skilled at providing exceptional service;High school diploma plus entry-level or more customer service and/or call center experience;Experience in a service/administration environment preferred;Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong customer service focus to interact successfully with customers and clients;Skilled in the operation of PCs, Microsoft Office products, accurate data entry, and the ability to learn and work with internal systems and processes;Ability to work effectively with other associates, advisors, and account owners;A team player who enjoys collaboration;Ability to understand and accurately apply specific product information, administrative systems, rules, and regulations to the processing items;Exhibit self-initiative, flexibility, teamwork, and leadership skills;Detail and quality oriented, self-motivated, and dependable;Proven analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills;Ability to work a flexible work schedule with occasional overtime;Experience in financial services or insurance industry helpful;Knowledge of general accounting principles helpful;Willingness to enhance education through training and industry education, i.e., ASPPA. What Security Benefit Can Offer You?. Security Benefit offers a competitive salary and as a full-time employee you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: Employees are eligible for an annual incentive bonus designed to reward for performance33 days of paid time off for PTO, paid holidays, days of Significance, and a Volunteer DayPaid parental leave eligible after one year of serviceMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance401k with company matchProfit Sharing & Savings PlanShort-term and long-term disability insuranceFlexible spending accountLife insuranceEducational AssistanceAssociate Assistance Programs Career growth and more! Consider joining our progressive team in our nationally recognized company.
