The Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of their organization's rehabiltiation services, including the development and implementation of programs, hiring and training of staff.
The DOR is responsible for the day-to-day operations of their department while also managing other initiatives within the facility.
Director of Rehabilitation Job Duties :
Ensure that all staff members are following appropriate guidelines for patient care
Reviewing patient cases to determine eligiblity for treatment services
Meeting key performance indicators for department
Hiring and training new therapists to grow department
Ensuring that patients are receiving the best possible treatment through the coordination of care with physicians, nurses, case managers, social workers and other healthcare professionals
Participating in relevant meetings with Inderdisiciplinary Team
We are an in-house therapy program. The ideal candidate would be a Physical Therapist, Speech-Language Pathologist or Occupational Therapist who has a passion for building LTC programs and taking on high acuity patients.
