Director of Nursing (DON) Expectations  

• Oversight of all nursing operations for our post-acute care and long-term care facility. 
• Establish objectives and long-term goals and training for the healthcare team. 
• Ensure the nursing unit is compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations 
• Evaluate resident care as related to individualized resident needs, family involvement and the physician’s plan of care for the resident.
