The Learning and Development Initiative is seeking undergraduate students from NJIT to join our team for a summer internship program. As an intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's mission to enhance learning outcomes and drive professional development initiatives.

Essential Functions –

• Conduct General Research: Utilize various resources and methodologies to gather information on relevant topics related to learning and development, including educational trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Marketing Research: Assist in market research activities to identify target audiences, assess competitor strategies, and gather insights to inform marketing campaigns and outreach efforts.
• Competitive Intelligence: Analyze competitors' products, services, and strategies to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Provide recommendations based on findings to support strategic decision-making.
• Data Analysis: Compile and analyze data from various sources to extract meaningful insights and trends related to learning and development initiatives. Present findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Collaborate with Team: Work closely with team members to contribute ideas, share findings, and support ongoing projects and initiatives. Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation to communicate research findings, project updates, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Additional Tasks: Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor to support the overall goals and objectives of the Learning and Development Initiative.

Prerequisite Qualifications –

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate/graduate student at NJIT.

• Pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing, psychology, education, or a related discipline.
• Strong research skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with research tools and databases is a plus.
