NEW JERSEY INNOVATION INSTITUTE INC is Hiring a Program Director Near Newark, NJ

The NJII Program Director will be responsible for developing and enhancing organizational healthcare programs and infrastructure that will allow NJII to effectively fulfill its mission, as well as engage externally with key community partners. The Program Director is charged with leading the development/implementation of healthcare programs and policies to carry out the mission, vision, and strategic plan of NJII in collaboration with the Leadership Team. They are also responsible for program management, strategic planning, efficiency, and accountability for all healthcare-related programs across the organization. This position requires a strong background in program management, program development, program evaluation, community outreach, staff supervision, strategic planning, program operations, curriculum design, business acumen, capacity building, finance, and budgeting management. The position reports to the SVP & General Manager and works collaboratively with the Leadership Team on vision and strategy to lead the healthcare programs of NJII on an on-going basis. This role will also have revenue targets to achieve to support the business line for the collaborative.

Essential Functions –

· Responsible for strategic planning, sales management, and prospecting for new clients to help grow the program and the organization while achieving revenue targets as set by Executive Leadership

· Provide strategic management, programming, measurement, and evaluation of the organization’s healthcare programs.

· Maintain regular communications and sharing of healthcare and technology program enrollment data, impact data, financial data, and KPIs in a timely manner to fulfill their data reporting for key stakeholders

· Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report all programmatic/administrative activities and outcomes

· Involve the SVP in major decisions; the Program Manager will create an environment of inclusionary programs for all, including the Finance Dept in budget development and finance decision making, the Grants Director in funding procurement, and the Human Resources Dept with people management and the implementation of organizational policies and support as deemed necessary by the SVP

· Evaluate and recommend areas for growth including partnerships, capacity building, and opportunities for new programing with potential revenue streams while researching and analyzing the competitive landscape to identify insights, trends, and threats in the healthcare technology market, particularly senior care

· Oversee programs framework, curriculum design, goal setting, resource allocation, and implementation

· Responsible for defining synergized healthcare program structure and hiring all direct reports

· Collaboratively develop healthcare program budgets in partnership with the program managers and the finance department

· Implement and serve as main point of contact for any other programs, task forces, and committees as needed throughout the year or on an ongoing basis

· Participate in the research, development, and management of grants and contracts in partnership with the grants, finance, and legal departments

· Oversee financial controls and reporting of the financial position of all healthcare programs, recommend budget amendments to ensure stability of all programs both short and long-term

· Relationship management with key internal and external stakeholders, partners, vendors, and customers

Additional Functions –

· In partnership with the SVP, Leadership Team, and direct reports, they will support the implementation of the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

· Ensure efficient and effective internal cross-departmental communication and collaboration.

· Provide supervision on a regular basis which includes de-briefing of any client situations, self-care needs of program staff, and direction needed on any decisions to be made for program/department or program staff

Prerequisite Qualifications –

Education: The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business Administration, Health IT, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

Experience: The ideal candidate will have >5 years of experience in a relevant field. Previous leadership and/or consulting experience preferred.

· Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage a portfolio of complex projects and programs.

· Strong organization and project/program management skills.

· Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in business strategy.

· Proficiency in relevant software and tools for data analysis and strategic planning.

· Proven track record of developing and executing successful strategic initiatives.

· Exceptional adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning.

· Able to think creatively and strategically.
