**OTR Driver**

COST of Wisconsin, Inc. creates custom themed projects for museums, theme and water parks, aquariums, zoological exhibits, and other unique assignments. The CDL over-the-road (OTR) driver will make scheduled pick-ups and deliveries of various types of construction equipment and materials throughout the continental United States (occasionally Canada) to the companys work sites.

Fleet consists of late model Peterbilt trucks. ELD miles are used to determine routes and trip mile pay. Loads are company equipment and materials. Flexible schedule allows drivers to plan routes. Must be 21 years of age or older to apply. COST is not a trucking company.

Essential Job Duties:

* Drive OTR throughout the continental U.S. and occasionally Canada.

* Chain and tarp loads.

* Load and unload equipment as needed.

* Ensure proper truck maintenance and cleanliness.

* Maintain accurate driver/shipment logs and reports.

* Adhere to safety requirements and equipment guidelines.

* Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Knowledge and Skill:

* High school diploma or G.E.D.

* Hold a valid class A commercial drivers license (CDL).

* Minimum two years of OTR experience.

* Clean driving history.

* Ability to pass background check, department of transportation (DOT) physical, drug screen, and credit prior to employment.

* Adhere to safety requirements and equipment guidelines

* Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk or hear; and use hands to handle, or touch objects or controls. Performs repetitive motion of fingers, hands, wrists, shoulders, upper body while opening, sorting and/or distributing mail. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Employee must be able to lift 70 lbs. floor to waist; lift 90 lbs. waist to chest; lift 25 lbs. chest to overhead; carry 50 lbs. over a distance of 50 ft.; push a 100 lbs. wheeled cart over a distance of 100 ft.; and drag 50 lbs. over a distance of 100 ft.

Definitions:

*Local delivery*

Driving less than 200 miles from home base, in the same day is considered local.

* When a route is grouped with other routes in the same day not defined as local, than delivery shall not qualify as a local route.

* Local deliveries are paid per hour only. No mileage rates apply.

* Hours to be submitted in writing for approval.

*Loading time*

Each destination includes 1 hour of loading or unloading.

* Loading and unloading exceeding 1 hour per destination are paid by the hour.

* Drop must be during a time agreed by site superintendent and trucking schedule so the site is prepared to receive delivery or pickup.

* Loading time must be submitted in writing for approval.
