Responsibilities:
Coat painted surfaces with primer or sealer
Use job specifications to mix and match paint and stains
Prepare surfaces for painting by filling holes and cracks with putty and sanding
Meet with customers to understand what they want and make suggestions
Erect scaffolding when required
Protect trim, floors, fixtures, and furniture from paint using drop cloths and covers
Use a paint sprayer when the job requires it
Repair small drywall patches
Maintain a neat and tidy work area
Document your work daily in our software app on your phone
Communication professionally with the Project Managers
Qualifications:
Stamina, standing for long periods of time, dexterity, and physical strength is required
We prefer candidates with 2 years work experience and a completed apprenticeship, but not required
We prefer if you have a high school diploma or GED
Valid drivers license required
Strong communication skills, time management skills and attention to detail
Must live within 50 miles of Auburn Hills, Michigan to be considered for this position
Experience with painting tools and techniques is required
Experience with a paint sprayer
Clean driving record
