Job Summary:

Another Broken Egg of America Franchising, LLC is on the search for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for monitoring the outflow of capital for Another Broken Egg of America Franchising, LLC. Additionally, the Accounts Payable Specialist will provide financial, administrative, and clerical services as need to support the Finance Department.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manages accounts payable using accounting software and other programs. 
• Handles accounts payable for separate entities and vendors.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with new and existing vendors.
• Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing invoices, and resolving discrepancies.
• Ensures bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to company procedures.
• Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identifies discount opportunities, and issues stop-payment orders as needed.
• Processes transactions and performs accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling monthly statements and transactions.
• Calculates and reports sales tax based on paid invoices.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.
• Must be able to learn other accounting software systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma required; Business or Accounting degree preferred.
• 3 years of similar experience.
• Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) certification preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
