Description:
We are seeking a Logistics Administrator fluent in Spanish with strong computer skills for our client's Circle Drive North location. This role focuses on processing tasks rather than physical loading. Ideal candidates will have basic PC proficiency and preferably some experience with online shipping platforms. Bilingualism is preferred, and training will be provided for logistics responsibilities.
Duties may include:
- Coordinate and oversee the supply chain process, including transportation management, shipping, receiving, and inventory control
- Utilize a warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and generate reports
- Collaborate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to schedule shipments and ensure on-time delivery
- Manage all aspects of freight forwarding, including negotiating rates, selecting carriers, and tracking shipments
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to load and unload goods as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all inbound and outbound shipments
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with fleet management, including vehicle maintenance and scheduling repairs
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Proficient in transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Experience with shipping/receiving processes and procedures
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (preferred)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Proficient in using computer systems such as AS400 for data entry and tracking
- Knowledge of operations management principles is a plus
- Spanish (preferred)
