Producer

WBRZ-TV has an immediate opening for a morning Executive Producer. This position will manage our 4-hour show, as well as oversee WBRZ.com and social media sites during your shift. Producing experience required and some management expertise preferred. Great producers from small markets are encouraged to apply. We want someone that aggressively responds to breaking news and is able to coach and train new employees. Specific duties include:

Overseeing the TV and Digital product in the morning - executing strategy set by News Director Managing all news gathering operations in the morning, inclusive of planning for the future. Responsible for producer schedules. Approves all scripts to ensure our strategy goals are being met, stories are complete and well-written, and adding a creative element or showcasing. Trains, recruits new producers.
