Litigation Associate Job Description:
Litigation boutique in Irvine seeking an early-to-mid career, highly motivated self-starter Litigation Associate to work on-site, in our Irvine office. This is not a remote position. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years experience in civil litigation, with a strong desire to develop expertise in business, construction and real estate litigation. In this role, you will be handle all aspects of the litigation process, from initial pleadings to depositions and including trial. You will work closely with clients, our partners, and staff to develop and implement effective litigation strategies that achieve our clients' objectives.

Litigation Associate Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of commercial litigation matters from inception through trial, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and making court appearances.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda and briefs
• Manage all aspects of the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, conducting depositions, and preparing witnesses for deposition
• Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other attorneys

Litigation Associate Qualifications:

• Motivation and self discipline
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, find your own answers, manage multiple projects and deadlines, and collaborate effectively with team members
• Active member of the California State Bar
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to independently manage a high volume of work and multiple priorities
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Mastery of the Microsoft Windows and Office365 applications

Pay: $105,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
