DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Performs assigned preventative maintenance tasks.
· Performs scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
· Responds to and corrects equipment stoppage/mechanical breakdown.
· Troubleshooting (when necessary). Repairs/replaces worn/defective parts, motors, control devices, etc.
· Inspects and tests equipment to detect causes of malfunctions on hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatics.
· Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, & electrical systems.
· Knowledge or experience with PLC troubleshooting a plus
· Supervise contractors related site/ plant repair.
· On call during after hours
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
· 3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing environment with: electrical, HVAC, pressure vessels, plumbing systems, welding, and other maintenance skills.
· Capability of reading blueprints / schematics pertaining to hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic.
· Read and interpret documents such as written communication, wiring diagrams & schematics.
· Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
· Evaluate problems and solutions and present to leadership team with recommendation.
· Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities.
