Reports To: Security Senior Supervisor

Job Description

This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Security Department, including maintaining appropriate staffing levels, providing leadership to Park Security Officers (PSO’s) and representing the park to guests and Hosts. Security Senior Supervisors

Job Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and training as directed to ensure that Security Officers have the knowledge and tools for a safe work environment.
• Ensure all documents created by Security Officers are completed correctly, clearly, and concisely.
• Provide feedback and corrective action to Security Officers in a professional manner.
• Enforce all park policies and ensure procedures are performed correctly.
• Ensure breaks are completed per Break Policy SOP.
• Ensure all positions are staffed per Security Positions SOP.
• Perform all duties required of Security Officers.
• Professionally handle guest concerns presented to the Security Department. 
• Request documentation from Security Officers and other Hosts as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Excellent writing and organizational skills. 

Job Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Flexible availability.
• Computer skills with general knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. 
• All Park Security Officer requirements.

Physical Requirements

· Must be able to sit occasionally .25 – 2.5 hours a day.

· Must be able to stand continuously 5.5 - 8 hours a day.

· Must be able to walk moderate distances continuously 5.5 - 8 hours a day.

· Must be able to frequently bend and stoop 2.5 – 5.5 hours a day.

· Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds .25 to 2.5 hours a day.

· Must be able to endure a moderate to high stress level.

· Must be able to tolerate extreme weather conditions.

Experience

• Internal Candidates: Must have completed at least one (1) season with the Security Department.
• External Candidates: Experience preferred in related fields.
