H.E. Butt Foundation is Hiring a Cook (Temp) Near Leakey, TX
LLYC cooks must have completed their senior year of high-school at minimum. They will work together with a relatively small team of people in the kitchen. Cooks at LLYC must be open to learning and finding joy in the ministry of food service and hospitality. They must also be team players who have a commitment to excellence. Previous experience in a kitchen is not required. Cooks are directly managed by the Lead Cooks and Ranch House Manager.
Responsibilities
- Cooks are responsible for the daily preparation and presentation of camp meals.
- There are separate cook teams for each youth camp, Singing Hills and Echo Valley.
- Cooks prepare meals for between 200 and 400 people. LLYC has the highest standards for food service and we care deeply about the experience of a shared meal.
- Cooks work in a small community, delve into tight-knit relationships and get first-hand food service experience in an exciting setting.
