H.E. Butt Foundation is Hiring a Photographer (Temp) Near Leakey, TX
Laity Lodge Youth Camp offers campers a blend of high-energy recreation, wild adventures, peaceful renewal, and meaningful community. Campers are always encouraged to be themselves, develop deep friendships with their peers and counselors, explore faith in Christ, and encounter God.
Photographers follow a shooting schedule. Each day they shoot, organize, and edit photos and are required to submit a quota of high-quality pictures for the day. Then, they upload that day’s pictures to our website for parents and families to review and enjoy. Occasionally Photographers assist the Videographers in shooting and editing video footage.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Follow an activities schedule and take a variety of photos of campers
- Edit photos using Adobe Lightroom
- Organize and maintain a library of photos
- Upload daily to Bunk1 for family viewing
- Participate in spiritually driven sharing groups, discussions, and Bible study
- All other duties as assigned
- Strong communication skills

- Time management and ability to multi-task
- Ability to adapt, and work in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments
- Knowledge of photography equipment and software for planning, editing, and uploading
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- Ability to move and hold photography equipment for long periods
- Able to walk on uneven ground and work in unpredictable outdoor environments
- Ability to work outside in varying weather and environmental conditions
- Expect to routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, multi- function printers, and radios.
