Benjies Munch in North central San Antonio, TX is looking for one cook to join our strong team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and engaged. Restaurant and Foodtruck opportunities. Busy Scratch Kitchen. Base pay plus tips for this position.
Responsibilities
- Set up workstations
- Cook dishes to business recipe/standards
- Follow food health and safety guidelines
- Prepare ingredients for use during shift
- Clean and sanitize pans, equipment and utensils
- Assist to work/cook and clean, Load and Unload on the MunchTruck
- Assist as needed for business success
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a cook/chef
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Strong attention to detail, with a passion for the culinary arts.
- Ability to listen, follow recipes, and communicate effectively
- Must have schedule flexibility
- Friendly, personable, must be able to carry on a professional conversation
- Must have reliable transportation to work and ability to travel to possible offsite catering and events.
