Title of position: Video Editor

Position type: Full Time

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Description of responsibilities:

Duties for our Video Editor may vary within the team. Depending on the team’s needs, a Video Editor’s primary responsibility may include but are not limited to editing half-hour infomercial content and commercials. In addition, the Video Editor’s role consists of managing material such as camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects to produce a final tv video product.

Required skills:

· Must be able to take direction and execute based on that direction

· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

· Proficient in Adobe Premier

· A keen eye for detail

· Ability to solve problems and be resourceful and adaptable

· Ability to plan, schedule, and monitor progress across a large project

· Ability to organize and manage several large projects at once, in a fast-paced environment

· Communicate effectively to express ideas, address issues, and deliver progress updates

· Capability to work independently

· Ability to work with others, at all levels, as part of a team

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Required experience:

· Experience with TV Studio

· Previous experience as a Video Editor

· Bonus if experience with New Tek Tricaster, Live Switching, and Audio/Podcast
