Account Manager
Stryde, a fast-growing ecommerce marketing agency, is seeking a seasoned account manager to join our team.
We are a remote-first company with employees across 3 continents. Our agency has been in business for over 10 years and works with well-established, exciting, up-and-coming D2C brands.
Our existence is based on our ability to scale these brands by developing and executing the right digital marketing strategy for each client and holding ourselves accountable for delivering excellent work and meaningful, tangible results for each of our clients.

Role Description
The account manager is ultimately responsible for the success and retention of each Stryde client. They are to own each client relationship, understand their business initiatives and goals, and advocate for them internally and externally.
It is vital that the account manager is an excellent communicator, as this role is centered around communication and ensuring that nothing slips through the cracks.

Responsibilities
  • Be the sole point of contact for all client communication.
  • Act as an intermediary between the marketing team, team members, and client.
  • Ensure clients are happy, well-served, and that their goals are being achieved.
  • Advocate for client’s needs and goals internally
  • Responsible for all client communication
  • Record, compile, and share all relevant client information and communication
  • Discuss client needs with marketing team to ensure client goals are being achieved
  • Communicate the strategies and tactics being employed by the marketing team to the client

Required Skills
  • Native-level fluency in written and spoken English
  • Excellent written & verbal communication
  • Proven track record of excellent customer service experience
  • Knowledge of & experience with project management software
  • Knowledge & experience with SEO, paid search, paid social, & email marketing

Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience ecommerce experience
  • Minimum of 2 years client-facing experience
  • Experience working in project management software
  • Ideally, 1 year experience with Shopify
  • If working remotely, have a minimum of 2 years of experience working remotely

Communication Expectations
  • Communication will take place primarily through email video conferences (Google Meet), email, and Google Chat.
  • Be available from 9-5pm Mountain Standard Time.

Key Measures of Success
  • Retention - Account managers are expected to retain 95% of their book of business each calendar year.
  • Upsells - Account managers are expected to upsell at least 30% of their clients each calendar year.
  • Account managers are expected to manage up to $75,000 monthly recurring revenue by the end of the first year of employment.
  • Account managers are expected to manage up to $95,000 monthly recurring revenue by the end of the second year of employment.

Compensation
  • Salary - Up to $70,000 per year based on experience
  • Commission - Earn client retention and expansion commissions after your first 6 months of employment.
