PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT:

SFG is looking for a well-organized and customer focused Administrative Assistant. This individual will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to billing, loading customers, weighing grain and chemical equipment across truck scales, answering phone and greeting/assisting customers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Accurate and timely billing of invoices to customer accounts
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for the location
• Assist in taking and reconciling physical inventory of the office and location
• Balance daily cash
• Keeping office clean and organized
• Run computer scale to weigh agronomy/grain trucks and custom weigh
• Check grain moisture, test weight and foreign material of grain
• Assist with loading feed for customers
• Assist with customer orders and help sales and operations connect with customers
• Establish and maintain the professional image of the office
• Work extended hours and weekends during Spring/Harvest season

REQUIREMENTS:

• Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and multi-task in a steady to fast-paced environment
• Sound business skills, including previous bookkeeping experience
• Excellent math, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
• Proven capability to learn proprietary software
• Outstanding customer service
• Ability to work Saturdays during busy seasons
• Ability to work overtime as necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
