Our approach to business is simple — treat each other and our customers like family.Summary/Objective:The Purchasing Analyst assists the Purchasing department with maintaining an efficient supply chain, ensuring customer satisfactions, and contributing to overall process improvements. Essential Functions:

• Collect and analyze supply chain data and create an appropriate stocking plan for key inventoried items enabling effective inventory management and timely replenishments.
• Identify and recommend process improvements within purchasing and the supply chain, and collaborate with other teams to implement changes.
• Evaluate supplier performance, address supply chain issues, and identify alternative suppliers to mitigate risks.
• Assist the sales team with special quote items, expediting order lead times, and addressing supply-related inquiries.
• Assist and coordinate with relevant departments, and support accounts payable to ensure smooth order fulfillment and compliance.
• Support customers and the sales team with various material certifications, certificates, and part requirements related to their orders.
• Resolve discrepancies with vendors, optimize shipments, and minimize transportation costs
• Utilize ERP and data analytics tools to interpret supply chain data effectively.
• Initiate and place purchase orders (POs).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• ​High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of two years of experience as a purchasing analyst preferred.
