Established demolition contractor is the Northeast region seeks senior level Estimator for continued growth in the organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical & communication skills along with a solid understanding of all demolition practices.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and engineers to gather necessary information
- Utilize software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam for estimating purposes
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
- Monitor project costs and assist in cost control efforts
- Review and analyze contract terms and conditions
Experience:
- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles
- Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing from vendors and subcontractors
