As an Accounts Payable Manager at Florida’s Natural, you’ll work alongside Finance team to ensure smooth operations of our financial processes by managing the accounts payable function.
What you’ll do:
- Supervise and oversee the accounts payable team, providing guidance, training, and performance management to ensure efficient and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Develop and maintain accounts payable procedures and policies to ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships, including communication, negotiation of payment terms, and resolution of any discrepancies or issues.
- Prepare and analyze accounts payable aging reports, identifying outstanding liabilities and implementing strategies to optimize cash flow.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as purchasing and receiving, to resolve discrepancies and streamline the procurement-to-payment process.
- Collaborate with the finance team to support month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Oversee the processing of employee expense reports and reimbursement requests, ensuring compliance with company policies and timely reimbursement.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with experience in financial analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to adapt to new systems and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry is preferred but not required.
