Purpose of Job: Partner with the product owner and business stakeholders to drive the Anaplan development strategy. Works directly with the Product Owner for Anaplan to prioritize backlog items, compose user stories, and define requirements according to Agile principles. Owns the technical and functional design and execution of solution development in the Anaplan environment. Leads unit testing, user acceptance testing, and sprint demonstrations.
Job Duties:
- Designs, builds, documents, and maintains models, modules, pages, apps, dashboards, and other features of Anaplan.
- Manages Anaplan architecture and data hub, builds and maintains data models, and partners with the product owner and application development team to design, implement, and test inbound and outbound data pipelines.
- Manages product development timelines in partnership with Anaplan Product Owner.
- Acts as administrator for assigned aspects of Anaplan.
- Serves as primary contact for user training and production support issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or relevant technical degree.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience, 5-7 years experience, preferred.
- Master’s degree in computer science, or business analytics is a plus.
- Budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting experience, ideally in an FP&A environment, is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in and deep understanding of financial and operational planning processes and methodologies strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience building sophisticated financial models strongly preferred.
- Experience using technology to translate complex Excel spreadsheets into multidimensional models preferred.
- CPG or beverage industry experience preferred.
- Master Anaplan certification preferred.
- Proven track record of analytical problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong analytical abilities, translating business requirements into effective Anaplan models.
- Strong understanding of data integration and ETL processes, including data mapping and transformation.
- Working knowledge and experience in Agile methods.
- Ability to work independently, efficiently managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to travel up to 20% of the time, possibly overnight.
