US Lumber Group is Hiring an Account Manager II Near Ashland, PA

Job Summary:

The Tier II Systems Administrator job is making sure that all relevant systems are functioning properly. This can include performance metrics, service levels, server status and both planned and unplanned system outages. The Tier II Systems Administrator will need to deliver the data they’ve collected to higher-level employees on a regular daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Systems administrators should possess strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills, in addition to in-depth technical knowledge of the employer’s systems hardware and software. They should have solid technical skills, as well as interpersonal and organizational abilities.

Basic Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and configure internal and customer facing Windows 2012 Servers and higher.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and configure backups for internal and customer facing Windows 2012 Servers and higher.
  • Utilize MDM and other management tools to deploy software and applications to user endpoints.
  • Assist with security stack administration and troubleshooting (DUO 2FA, Cisco Amp, CISCO Umbrella, Mimecast)
  • Act as an escalation point for end user Help Desk Support.
  • Define and document best practices and support procedures.
  • Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance.
  • Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation.
  • Carry out special tasks at Management's direction.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Areas of Responsibility: (required)

  • Microsoft Active Directory (GPO’s, PowerShell, Scripting, LDAP, etc.)
  • Microsoft Server 2012 and Higher.
  • Cloud based hosting services.
  • Virtual Technology
  • A solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking (Protocols\DNS\VPN\etc.)
  • Remote desktop and applications
  • Mail services (Exchange\SPAM filters\etc.)
  • Storage technologies (SAN\NAS)
  • VMWare technology
  • MS Office 365 technology
  • DNS and Certificates

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 75% of the time while operating a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, printer, and/or copy machine.
  • Frequent reaching, sitting, walking, standing, lifting, stooping, or carrying of equipment and materials may be required.
  • Must be able to move about the office and position self to access file cabinets, copy machine, etc.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds of office equipment.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Required credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Business Systems Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience may be a substitute for the degree requirement.
  • Knowledge of assigned functional area.
