Job Summary

This role supports programs for the handling of food and alcohol safety to ensure the safety of team members, guests.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in implementation of food handling policies and SOPs-all departments/brands managed by corporate team members.
• Assist with compliance with state regulations for selling of alcohol and tobacco and monitor for changing requirements.
• Coordinate training programs for employees for food, tobacco, and alcohol safety, including ServSafe and TAPS.
• Assist with compliance with food safety and recall requirements for manufactured or supplied food products, including any new state or federal regulations.
• Coordinate EcoSure compliance program.
• Review audit reports, including health inspections, EcoSure, brand inspections to analyze and react to trends and opportunities.
• Support a foodborne illness incident readiness protocol for sites.
• Educate employees on allergen awareness.
• Coordinate with operations to help ensure proper maintenance and sanitation of all facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or can be substituted with 5 years of work experience.
• 1 or more years of experience in a food/restaurant related position.
• ServSafe Certification is a plus.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, required.
• Must possess critical thinking skills.
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
