Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Deli Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the efficient operation of the deli department.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in selecting deli products
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and hot food items
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure product quality and safety
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring product expiration dates
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints

Skills:
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products
- Experience in food handling, preferably in a restaurant or deli setting
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques
