DESCRIPTION
Dunwoody College of Technology currently has the need for Adjunct Instructors within its Graphic Design & Production program. Below are a list of classes available to teach for the Spring 2023 semester beginning in January.
Potential Available Courses:
Course Name: GRDP2103 DataViz Focus
Course Description: Explore information analysis and presentation through way-finding and infographics. Emphasis will be placed on accessibility, clarity, and usability
Semester: Fall 2024 - on campus

SPECIFIC POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Facilitates learning activities so that students learn the principles, theory, skills, and work ethic necessary to become proficient for entry level positions.
• Creates a positive learning environment.
• Monitors, assesses and advises learners on technical and academic progress and performance.
• Uses current academic and industry practices in assigned courses of instruction.
• Develops and upgrades lesson material, training aids and maintains equipment within assigned course of instruction.
• Assists in the recruitment, advising, and placement of learners.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

• A master's degree in interior design or related field; OR
• A bachelor's degree in interior design or related field and 18 credits of graduate-level coursework in interior design or related field
• Other standards as required by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) for faculty will also apply

Candidates should also have the following experience:

• Strong digital print background
• Working knowledge of current version of Adobe Creative Suite
• Working knowledge of Apple Macintosh operating system
