Position Title: Student Worker
Department: Electrical Construction & Maintenance
Approximate Hours per Week: 17 hours during school year; 40 in summer
Wage: $15.57
Number of Openings: 1
Primary Duties:
- Provide lab maintenance assistance.
- Meter and test equipment repair
- Job board repair
- Performance exam setup
- Recycling of used wire
- Ordering of repair parts
- Minimal carpentry
- General lab cleaning
- Physical labor (such as moving desks, chairs, and equipment)
Qualifications
- Basic electrical knowledge and skills.
- Proficient in the use of electrical test equipment-multi-meters and related equipment.
- Proficient use of hand tools and power tools.
- Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
