The Warehouse Associate efficiently picks or puts away product by hand or using warehouse equipment (such as a forklift), moves materials as needed, may package and ship materials when needed. Assists in cycle counting inventory and maintains the warehouse in a clean and orderly manner. Follows all safety requirements includes proper use of PPE.

Primary responsibilities

Forklift and Crane operator experience preferred.

• Maintain integrity of inventory in the warehouse and work in progress (WIP)
• Ensure that daily responsibilities are complete, such as picking, packing, and shipping.
• Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain clear part identification, ensuing that parts and production orders are properly labeled.
• Maintain data (data entry) accuracy of ERP and other warehouse and vendor systems.

Ensure overall cleanliness and warehouse safety by sweeping and properly disposing of trash.

Experience:

• Minimum one-year warehousing experience
• Forklift and crane operator experience a plus
• Shipping experience a plus

• Warehouse and dock within manufacturing facility

Physical Demands:

Position requires walking, bending, climbing, stooping and moderate lifting daily.

Must be comfortable working in manufacturing environments. Able to regularly lift up to 30 pounds, 50 pounds occasionally.
