It is the mission of all Orthodontic Patient Coordinators to provide exceptional customer service, while fostering lasting relationships with our families. We strive to be proactive, detailed and efficient in our work. Patient Coordinators work as a team to support and work with all departments to promote and achieve the best customer experience possible.

• Must be able to perform all essential functions of the Orthodontic Patient Coordinator and provide coverage to all clinics providing orthodontic services when needed.
• Answer phone calls promptly and return messages regarding all administrative functions
• Requires familiarity with orthodontic patient coordinator manual, terminology and functions related to administrative focus
• Requires understanding of administrative/scheduling orthodontic norms
• Respond promptly to patient/parent scheduling/administrative inquiries and resolve all complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Greet patients/parents upon arrival and gives fond farewell at end of appointment 
• Verifying, updating and editing patient information as needed
• Enter/create alerts/notes
• Scan /transfer documents and correspondence
• “Start” contracts and change/enter spec changes as needed 
• Collect paperwork and post payments 
• Complete specific administrative reports 
• Deposit reconciliation and end of day/month processes as needed
• Point of Contact for team questions/help regarding orthodontic administrative systems/processes 
• Other duties and tasks as assigned
