Description

Construction Superintendent will be responsible for the following:

• Manage day-to-day operations on construction sites, including coordinating subcontractors, scheduling deliveries, and overseeing work progress.
• Enforce strict adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality standards to ensure successful project completion.
• Monitor project budgets and timelines, proactively identifying and addressing any issues or delays to mitigate risks.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to address project requirements and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to on-site staff, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Profile

Construction Superintendent must have the following:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction management, with a proven track record of successfully overseeing large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and best practices, with a focus on commercial construction.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate on-site teams.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and blueprints.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work on-site at various project locations as required.
• OSHA certification and other relevant safety training are preferred.
