The Dispatch Assistant position is responsible for tracking drivers and loads from point of cover to on-time delivery. Ensure driver expectations have been clearly communicated and confirm the driver can meet them.Communicate issues and late trucks to the broker who is responsible. Effectively utilize tools
available including phone, email and Strategy. Accept all EDI, building all customer specific loads. This position is an entry-level position and provides room for growth and advancement.

Minimim Requirements:

• High school diploma required, some college experience preferred, but not necessary.
• Previous transportation experience preferred.
• Strong professional communication skills using the phone, internet and email.
• Basic knowledge of computers - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Excellent guest service skills and telephone protocol
• Must be able to multitask and work under pressure at various times

Pay: $18-20/ hour
