Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a
Dispatch Assistant. As a Dispatch Assistant you will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation activities to ensure efficient operations.

Duties:

- Plan and schedule transportation routes for drivers

- Communicate with drivers to provide instructions and updates

- Monitor GPS systems to track vehicle locations

- Coordinate with transportation management to optimize freight movement

- Answer incoming calls and provide exceptional phone etiquette

- Data Entry

- Collaborate with supply chain partners for seamless operations

Skills:

- Knowledge of transportation planning and logistics coordination

- Familiarity with GPS tracking systems

- Knowledge of transportation management practices

- Understanding of freight movement and optimization

- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Strong organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
