DISPATCHER ASSISTANT

Seeking an individual with quick positive, upbeat demeanor, energetic with can-do attitude, extremely well organized, flexible and able to enjoy challenges with a focus on solutions to assist transportation dispatchers with incoming orders. High energy and fast paced environment make your day fly by! We will assist to get you up to speed in the transportation of sand, gravel and aggregates.

Duties
- Coordinate and input orders in computer system for the transportation of materials.
- Assist drivers so that they may arrive to jobs timely and ensure completed delivery.
- Monitor and track deliveries using GPS and transportation management systems

- Monitor and communicate with others, to assist team to make informed decisions to optimize routing loads efficiently.
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and suppliers to provide status updates.
- Handle any issues or delays that may arise with deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities.

Skills
- Strong knowledge of fleet management and logistics operations.
- Experience in using GPS and transportation management systems.
- Experience with data entry and supply chain management.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with drivers, customers, and suppliers.
- Ability to learn to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deliveries simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
