Job Summary:
As a Public Relations Assistant at Messa Sync, you will play a vital role in supporting the PR team in various tasks related to media relations, communication strategies, and event coordination. Your responsibilities will include drafting press releases, monitoring media coverage, assisting with press events, maintaining media contact lists, and supporting social media efforts. The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing and communication skills, a strong understanding of media relations, and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting press releases, media pitches, and other communication materials.
- Monitor media coverage and compile press clippings.
- Coordinate press events, including conferences, interviews, and photo opportunities.
- Maintain media contact lists and databases.
- Assist in developing and implementing PR strategies and campaigns.
- Respond to media inquiries and requests for information.
- Support social media efforts and assist in content creation.
- Help manage PR calendars, schedules, and deadlines.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of messaging and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Previous experience in PR, communications, or related field preferred.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of media relations and PR best practices.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
