Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is one of the largest and most advanced behavioral healthcare organizations in the country. Nestled near the beaches between the Pacific Coast and Santa Ynez mountains, Devereux California is a therapeutic behavioral health treatment facility offering residential services, community living, day programs, and clinical services for adults with multiple diagnoses, including intellectual and developmental disabilities, and other cognitive disorders.

Located in Goleta, CA the Training Coordinator schedules and delivers training and development to Devereux employees using a variety of instructional strategies and activities suited for adult learners.

You will:

• Complete management and administrative duties related to learning management system (LMS), organizational compliance with licensing & training standards, entering, monitoring, analyzing and reporting data and file maintenance.
• Oversee the development and implementation of training materials, programs and ongoing employee development initiatives.
• Provide on-the-job observation and coaching to Direct Care Professional staff and coordinate a team of certified trainers.
• Deliver instruction including, but not limited to, modules of Devereux Safe & Positive Approaches, First Aid/CPR and other.

Please note that this is a Full-Time onsite position with some weekends and evenings, as needed.

Compensation is $23- $25/hr DOE

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health care field, learning and development, or other related field preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.

EXPERIENCE: One to three years of experience as a trainer or presenter is required. Experience in a behavioral health care setting is preferred. Certification in several knowledge areas is preferred (e.g. Safe and Positive Approaches, Suicide Prevention, New Directions, First Aid/CPR, etc.) Must have skill in MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel, general administrative and clerical skills and be willing to learn additional skills.
