The Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant (MHC) supports the Centerstone Mission, Vision, and Values by providing relationship based mental health consultation to Early Care and Education (ECE) providers working with young children (birth to 5) and their families. The MHC will facilitate training, technical assistance, support, and linkage to resources such as referral services support to ECE providers and others within the service area. The MHC will work proactively within the community to improve and facilitate understanding and collaboration between the ECE field and the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health field and to promote community understanding of and support for child and family mental health. The MHC will demonstrate an ability to apply trauma-informed principles and a racial equity and social justice lens and will integrate them into daily practice.
