**Front Desk Coordinator**

This is a fast-paced, fun practice with an excellent mentor and team members! The Front Desk Coordinatoris the right hand of the Operations Manager and the face of the practice. This role is an integral part of the office team with strong interpersonal and organizational skills. He/she works closely with patients and clinical team members, coordinates appointments, manages schedules and patient flow, and assists patients with financial arrangements. The Front Desk Receptionist reaches out to patients on a daily basis and is seen as a key point of contact internally and externally. Join the team and be part of this exciting opportunity!

**Key Responsibilities**

In this position, you will:

* Greet and check in/check out each patient in a professional and welcoming manner

* Answer phones and address any patient questions

* Schedule patient treatment appointments based on scheduling guidelines and production goals

* Reschedule patients who miss appointments

* Contact patients to complete treatment

* Establish new patient records

* Manage dentist and hygienist schedules

* Work with our clinical team to effectively manage daily patient flow

* Provide communications and information to appropriate team members

* Execute all treatment paperwork including consent forms, policy forms and exit paperwork

* Adhere to confidentiality, state, federal and HIPAA laws and guidelines

* Perform other front desk duties as assigned

**Qualifications**

* Minimum 1 year experience in a front desk dental practice setting

* Ability to understand insurance plans is a plus

* Knowledge of Microsoft and software applications

* Ability to to adapt to change and maintain professionalism in challenging situations

* Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills

* Reliable and Dependable

* Positive can-do attitude, team player and friendly demeanor
