Job Overview:
We are seeking a Help Desk Analyst to join our IT team. As a Help Desk Analyst, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users. This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and delivering excellent customer service.
Duties:
- Respond to incoming support requests via phone, email, or in-person
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to computer hardware, software, and network connectivity
- Provide timely resolution or escalate complex issues to the appropriate IT teams
- Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems
- Assist with user account management, including password resets and access permissions
- Set up and support mobile devices for employees
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve issues and implement solutions
- Document all support activities in the ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Follow established procedures for incident management and problem resolution
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT tools and systems
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Proficient in troubleshooting computer hardware, software, and network issues
- Experience with SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for software deployment and patch management
- Knowledge of mobile devices (iOS, Android) setup and configuration
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on providing a positive user experience
- Familiarity with DNS (Domain Name System) configuration and troubleshooting
- Understanding of IT infrastructure components such as servers, switches, routers, etc.
- Ability to perform software troubleshooting including installation, configuration, and compatibility issues
- Experience working with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) for incident tracking and resolution
- Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems
