Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Chef to join our culinary team. The Line Chef will be responsible for executing food preparation tasks, cooking menu items to perfection, and ensuring the timely and consistent delivery of high-quality dishes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently set up and maintain well-stocked stations for seamless service
• Execute food preparation tasks with precision and attention to detail, including chopping, brining, and sauce preparation
• Collaborate with kitchen team to cook menu items to perfection
• Responsibly follow and communicate instructions from the Head Chef
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of stations, ensuring proper food handling and waste management
• Manage inventory levels to support smooth operations
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality dishes, maintaining consistency throughout service
• Adhere to nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards rigorously
• Foster a positive and professional environment, fostering strong relationships with colleagues and patrons alike
• Process POS (point of sale) purchases
• Help clean and maintain studio facilities
• Position may require lifting up to 50 lbs
• All other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Familiar with the industry’s best practices
• Availability to work flexible shifts (nights and weekends)
• A culinary school diploma would be a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
