Job Overview
The Assistant Production Manager assists the Production Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing or production facility. This role involves managing staff, organizing production schedules, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Support Production Planning: Assist in planning production schedules, overseeing production processes, and ensuring that the necessary materials and equipment are available.
2. Supervise Staff: Help manage production staff to ensure they are well-trained, motivated, and perform their duties efficiently.
3. Quality Control: Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programs to ensure the finished product meets quality standards.
4. Compliance and Safety: Ensure that the production process complies with all regulations and safety standards.
5. Reporting: Assist in the preparation of reports on production and staff performance for senior management. Tracks billing, receipts and payment transactions.
6. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving production efficiency and reducing waste.
