This is an entry level position. Business hours are M-F 7:00am to 5:30pm.
The receptionist is often the first to make an impression, so a clear and smiling voice is a necessity. Also, the receptionist needs to be able to do many tasks including answering the phones, entering data, sorting mail, using the intercom to page, and/or exhibiting patience to handle upset callers. The job includes working within the accounts payable department and high volume data entry. And it will require you to maintain some accounts payable reports and spreadsheets. Assists in monthly closing. Assists financial officers and branch personnel as necessary.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Basic clerical skills are needed. Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred, use of Microsoft Outlook and Excel is required. The job requires the use of 10 key, so some experience would be nice. The phones are answered through a computer program by Cisco; any knowledge in that would be welcome but not required. Good communication in both verbal and written areas and teamwork are required.
