Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Clerk. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. This is a vital role within our organization, as it directly impacts our financial operations.

Duties:
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure accuracy of data
- Match invoices with purchase orders and packing slips
- Verify vendor information and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and process payments to vendors
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding issues
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any invoice or payment-related inquiries

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounts payable
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and GAAP principles
- Proficient in double-entry bookkeeping
- Experience with accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to perform account reconciliations
- Familiarity with debits, credits, and general ledger accounts
- Strong 10-key typing skills for efficient data entry
