TRANSPORTATION AND LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT is Hiring a Remote VP of Enterprise Sales
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Meets with key clients assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
Develops and maintains relationships with customers, prospective customers based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads trade shows purchasing contacts or other sources.
Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares contracts for orders obtained.
Consistently and continually solicit committed and non-committed freight orders from a designated and assigned customer base via a multitude of communication exchanges daily, commensurate with company and business level needs.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to allow for the greatest opportunities in generating the highest level of freight order volumes.
KEY KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED equivalent; College degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years’ work experience in the transportation industry.
5 years' B2B sales minimum.
Full Truck Load - Dry, Reefer freight experience required.
Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
Experience working in a deadline driven environment preferred.
