This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in providing production pricing support for our Everest Specialty division (lines of business including D&O, E&O, Professional Liability, Transactional Liability, Cyber, Surety and Trade Credit). Responsibilities include but not limited to: Work with underwriters and other actuaries to support the development & enhancement of pricing tools to support underwriting and facilitate data capture. Analysis of underwriting performance and claims trends by segment. Perform portfolio price monitoring and communication of findings to management. Test and validate assumptions underlying pricing models. Contribute to the maintenance of pricing tools and recommend solutions to improve pricing models. Assist in the analysis of external data sources and loss models. Support new product implementation Qualifications, Education & Experience: 1-3 years of actuarial experience in the property-casualty insurance industry with experience in specialty lines of business a plus Demonstrated progress in passing actuarial exams Knowledge, Skills & Competencies: Problem-solving skills Ability to advance multiple projects Ability to communicate actuarial considerations to underwriters, computer programmers, and other company professionals Excel expertise Proficiency in at least one of the following is a plus: SQL or MS Access, Excel VBA, Power BI, R, SAS, Python For NYC Only: The base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000 annually.
