The Everest Risk Consulting (ERC) Premium Auditor will work with the Premium Audit Director to perform and coordinate audits. This experienced Auditor will join the Premium Audit team to support a growing book of business across all lines. This position will be responsible for the completion of physical and virtual audits and assist in the servicing of these audits after they have been processed. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Completes quality physical and virtual audits for all accounts timely Coordinates field audits from status updates to completion using Premium Audit system and email communications to appropriate business partners Completion of physical audits and re-audits, including all lines of business, as necessary on assigned account policies within stated premium audit guidelines. Policies will range in size with key attention to higher premium value servicing, temporary staffing, and USL&H. Review and handle all premium audit disputes assigned to include determining whether the dispute has merit and the appropriate action based on that determination; completion of the re-audit if needed or assigning to third-party audit firm for completion and notifying the agent and/or policyholder of the results. Develop a strong relationship with the policyholders, premium audit team, and business segments or program managers including Underwriters and Underwriter Assistants. Serve as a resource for underwriters concerning such matters as the proper classification and basis of premium for workers compensation, general liability, and commercial auto policies. Assist with Test Audit selection submissions for audited policies including completion of re-audits as needed when a chargeable difference is developed as a result of a Test Audit difference. Achieve and maintain test audit results at or below state minimum requirements. Work with Audit Director/Manager to conduct local audits effectively managing the Everest Cost and travel needs. Act as a Custodian of Record on behalf of Everest attending all court appearances on all audit legal matters, including classification, collections, and fraud issues. Assist/facilitate all audit activities for assigned policies from pre-bind to final audit completion / billing Assist with completion of Audit Status Reports – ensure weekly updates for all accounts are posted to Premium Audit Management system. Quality and timely processing and handling of the premium audits and disputes for all lines of business and for all states. Technical skill set to explain regulations and audit rules to insureds, brokers, underwriters, etc. in a clear, timely and understandable manner. Manage various projects partnering with operational business units, underwriting, marketing, and other business groups as requested Maintain a working knowledge of the individual guidelines of each Program and Underwriting office. Any additional work that is pertinent to the operations function. Qualifications, Education & Experience: 10 years Field Audit experience servicing a range of policyholders with 3-4 years large account complex risk servicing desired. Understanding of Large Deductible, Composite Rating, and multi-entity policy structures desired. High production history with outstanding technical quality demonstrated Excellent Customer Engagement/Service Skills – both written and verbal Project management organization skills highly desired APA designation Preferred College Degree Preferred Experience with Microsoft Suite Proficiency and advanced Excel skills required (e.g. V Look-ups, Pivot Tables, manipulation of large data sets) Location – Remote 30-50% travel required - audit kick off / introduction meetings or stewardship meetings and physical audit site visits CA Only: The base salary range for this position is $120,000-$145,000 annually.
