Apis Services is Hiring a Remote HR SPECIALIST

Job Summary: The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level while working closely with the HR Team and staff management. The HR specialist will ensure our HR Systems are up-to-date and accurate, including ongoing updates to titles, compensation, and other employment data. As well as support all employee data-related tasks while ensuring the highest level of data integrity, confidentiality, and security. The HR Specialist will also support with the completion of employee relations investigations under the direction of the Director of HR Compliance & Investigations.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB AND ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS:

  • Familiar with Applicant Tracking/Human Resources Information Systems (experience with Clear Company, SharePoint and ADP preferred but not required).
  • Experience in employee compliance.
  • Experience in managing electronic employee folders.
  • Experience in onboarding new employees.
  • Experience with system implementation and set up.
  • Ability to provide prompt technical and troubleshooting support.
  • Experience with recruiting techniques and candidate sourcing.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Experience with excel required.
  • Ability to jump in and help on short notice with projects, issues, or other departments.
  • Well organized and great attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Able to build and use reports for statistical and analytical purposes.
  • Ability to work with and proficiently train others.
  • Experience in Standard Operating Procedure creation and maintenance.
  • Established track record of effectively organizing and executing priorities.
  • Possess logical and analytical thinking along with project management skills.
  • Assist in annual workforce data reporting.
  • Meet deadlines and compliance expectations per state and federal regulations.
  • Handles sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Organizes and works independently on multiple assigned tasks/projects and completes assignments within specified deadlines.
  • Able to build and use reports for statistical and analytical purposes.
  • Employee relations investigations experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of two years Human Resource knowledge and background required.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Certificate (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency with navigating computers.
  • Experience in a rapid growth organization.
  • Employee Relations and Investigations experience (required)
