POSITION SUMMARY:
The Advancement Coordinator is responsible for supporting marketing communications and advancement efforts. The primary responsibilities include creating mission-aligned stories, managing media outreach, creating digital content, handling marketing requests, and communicating the organization's social media presence. Advancement support involves coordinating events, reaching out to donors, conducting research, recognizing and engaging with stakeholders across the organization. The Director of Marketing Communications will be the manager of this role.
The ideal candidate for this position must be an exceptional writer, creative thinker, and collaborator. They should thrive in independent and collaborative work within a small team and be adept at navigating a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Specifically, the successful candidate should be a masterful communicator, able to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, including staff, students, and external supporters.
